What is an online payment?

An online payment is an automatic draft created by the customer.
 

When will my payment be made?

Any payments made online prior to our daily cut-off at 12 NOON EST will be drafted from your bank account the same day, and will be delivered to and processed by Village Mortgage the following day. If a payment is made after the cut-off time, it will be drafted from your account the following business day and require an additional business day to be processed by Village Mortgage.

What is the deadline to make a payment without any late fees?

Village Mortgage does not assess any late fees to mortgage payments as long as they are received by the 15th of the month. In order to be delivered and processed prior to this date, all online payments must be made by 12 NOON (EST) on the 14th. Any payments scheduled after this final deadline must include the late fee specified on your mortgage statement. If you have any specific questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to call our main office at 860-482-7378.

Can I make a partial payment?

Unfortunately, Village Mortgage Company cannot accept partial payments. Payments must be paid in the full amount due online once per month. We cannot accept payments in installments. Village Mortgage reserves the right to reject/return any partial payments.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Village Mortgage will draft payments from any checking or savings account. Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit card payments at this time. We are currently working to make this option available in the next few months.
